Singer Waje discloses lesson on personal growth, emotional intelligence

Singer Waje Iruobe highlighted a significant lesson she learnt in 2024, emphasizing the value of personal development and emotional intelligence.

In a rare family photo with her daughter on Instagram, Waje stated that making substantial life choices to better oneself will surely irritate others.

She observed that people who are reluctant to change frequently do not want others to change, but it is critical to remember that their discomfort is not their problem.

Waje urged followers to take responsibility for their choices rather than blaming themselves for others’ responses.

Waje emphasized the value of gratitude, calling it the healthiest human emotion.

“My Biggest lesson of 2024 so far is……When you decide to make serious life changes to improve your life and health, it is almost inevitable that you will ruffle someone’s feathers. People who aren’t ready to change don’t want others to either. Remember that this is their problem, not yours, so don’t blame yourself for their choices, but be responsible for yours.

“Emotional intelligence is a gift that keeps giving; my decision to look the other way in silence for a TIME isn’t a sign of weakness. Gratitude is the healthiest form of all human emotions. @emeraldogochukwu is a stunner”.

In other news, Adedayo Aderombi, a reality TV star and comedian better known as DeeOne, has explained why he frequently criticizes his Big Brother Naija co-stars.

He stated that he has nothing personal against any of the former BBNaija housemates; rather, he frequently calls them out to debunk the myths that some of them sell on social media.

DeeOne stated this in an interview with The Punch, clarifying that he exclusively tackles matters that are already public knowledge and does not discuss his colleagues’ private concerns.

He also mentioned Kiddwaya’s claim of losing 70,000 Euros during a heist at his luxury property in Ibiza, Spain, few weeks ago.

According to the comic act, the celebs are utilizing their statements as a marketing tactic to stay relevant, but it ends up misleading the fans.

DeeOne said; “I don’t bring personal and private issues to the public; it is only things that are already out there I talk about. How can someone say he lost 70,000 euros? Those things are just ridiculous. If you are making that type of money, I don’t think the first thing you would do is to come out and tell the public; it is more like you are showing off.

I just come out to correct the perception people have about ex-housemates, because some of them use lies as a strategy to remain relevant. Somebody could wake up and say she bought an aeroplane. How? How many people even own a private jet in this country?

“Those are definitely lies, which they use as a marketing strategy to stay relevant. But, they are misleading many people with those fake narratives and fake lives. Meanwhile, I don’t come out to say they are lies; I just draw the attention of the public to the logic (illogic) of whatever they say.”
