The sister of the lecturer at UNIZIK, who was attacked by a student, has come forward to share her perspective on the incident.

In a live discussion with Daddy Freeze, she provided details about the event, emphasizing her brother’s calm and humble nature.

She revealed that her brother contacted her right after the occurrence to clarify the situation, as they share a close bond.

However, the lecturer’s sister expressed their astonishment upon receiving calls informing them that the video had gained widespread attention.

She stated, “My brother called me as soon as it happened because we are very close.

He told me that what drew his attention was when he passed and the girl said, “who does he even think he is, even if he’s a lecturer?”

He came back to see if the girl is his student, and that’s when he noticed that she was making a video. He then asked her to delete it that he doesn’t want his face in any video, and things escalated.

He was still in shock, he said before he knew what was happening, the girl was all over him, scratching him, she bit him on the arm and drew blood.

I didn’t even know it was this serious because the way he gisted  me was like it was not a big deal, he just told me that a student attacked him.

My brother is the calmest, most humble person I know. He is someone that will say, “the Holy Spirit said I should let it go”.

So it’s very painful to come online and see all the comments against my brother, most people trying to defend the girl, most people saying that who knows if he has something to do with her.

I mean his wife is a Magistrate for God’s sake…”

The online community has been abuzz following the emergence of a video depicting a student from Nnamdi Azikiwe University physically attacking a lecturer.

The University has since reassured the public that it has initiated an investigation into the incident and will implement appropriate disciplinary actions.
