Skales Praises Speed Darlington’s Diss Track Aimed At Burna Boy

Singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, known as Skales, shared his thoughts on Speed Darlington’s diss track “Baby Oil,” which was released after Burna Boy helped him out of police custody.

On X, he claimed the song was a hit and reminded him of Tupac’s “Hit Em Up.”

Recall that Speed Darlington and Burna Boy have a rocky relationship. Speed Darlington accused Burna Boy of having a relationship with American rapper Sean Combs, also known as P. Diddy, and even questioned how many bottles of baby oil P. Diddy used on him.

After the incident, Burna Boy filed a police report, and Speed Darlington was arrested. He apologized afterward and was released.

Supporters of Burna Boy argue that Skales was trying to get under Burna Boy’s skin by praising Speed Darlington, which they deemed inappropriate. They also highlighted Burna Boy’s positive impact on Skales’ career.
