Online controversy has been generated by a video featuring Nigerian musicians Ice Prince and Skiibi laughing at their senior colleague Eedris Abdulkareem’s claim that he opened doors for other artists like Davido.
Eedris Abdulkareem, a music icon, gained notoriety online when he claimed to have started the revolution that helped Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, and other Nigerian musicians achieve international fame.
The “Jaga Jaga” hitmaker, however, disclosed in a recent interview with the Honest Bunch Podcast that most musicians do not value his effort, drawing the notice of Skiibi and Ice Prince.
The pair was seen in the video making jokes and laughing heartily at Eedris’s interview while they relaxed and watched the show.
