Slimcase, whose real name is Oluwafemi Oladapo, shared in a recent interview with Naija FM in Lagos how Don Jazzy inspired him to pursue a career as a content producer and influencer.
In the interview, Slimcase revealed that he didn’t consciously choose to become an influencer, but rather found himself naturally gravitating towards it.
He mentioned that observing Don Jazzy’s ability to maintain relevance over time motivated him to venture into the world of influencing.
He said:
“I didn’t decide to become a content creator/influencer. I just found myself doing it. As I was doing music and seeing trends online, I got inspired by Don Jazzy.
I looked at Don Jazzy’s way of life, from music to other things; how he has stayed relevant through the years and I was inspired. That has really helped me to hold my fans till the right music comes.”
Slimcase’s revelation is coming barely a week after Wizkid was bashed online for referring to Don Jazzy as an “influencer.”
