Rema, a well-known Nigerian musician, has had many people talking online following his recent video with Shallipopi where he was seen rejecting Igbaux (Igbo).
In the video, Rema and Shallipopi are seen together in the studio, as if they are preparing to release a new song.
While it is widely assumed that smoking is a cultural feature shared by all Nigerian musicians, Rema, who is from Edo State, demonstrates the opposite.
Rema and Shallipopi, both from Edo State, were observed seated next to each other in the studio, having a discussion, and that was just the beginning.
Moment later, Shallipopi decided to show the brotherhood in him to Rema by offering him an Igbaux.
Reacting to this, Rema ran away from the seat to the extent he returns to almost kick Shallipopi as a way to show that he doesn’t smoke at all.
This Rema reaction to Igbaux sends Shallipopi into a fit of laughter as he is seen laughing so hard.
Captioning the video, Shallipopi wrote; “Benin boy dey run from Igbo.”
He accompanied it with laughing and heartbroken emojis.
