Actor Nosa Rex has criticized Nigerians who are portraying singer Speed Darlington as the victim in his dispute with Burna Boy.
It is important to note that the singer was apprehended last Friday in Lagos and subsequently taken to Abuja due to a petition lodged against him by his fellow artist, Burna Boy.
While the specifics of the petition remain undisclosed, it is widely believed to stem from numerous videos in which Speed Darlington has publicly criticized Burna Boy.
In September, Speed Darlington released a video in which he questioned Burna Boy’s sexuality, citing his close association with the troubled American singer Diddy.
Many Nigerians have condemned Burna Boy for allegedly utilizing the police to arrest and detain Speed Darlington, with some even labeling him an oppressor.
In a post on his Instagram page, BabaRex inquired whether it was acceptable for Speed Darlington to insult Burna Boy without facing any repercussions.
In other news, Music executive Samklef has called out critic Verydarkman to be tough on singer Burna Boy after he allegedly got rapper Speed Darlington arrested.
In a tweet, Samklef accused VDM of being a hypocrite and pointed out that he didn’t criticize Davido when he got Dammy Krane arrested.
In his words:
“All of una wey Dey advice burna boy and VDM una head no correct Why VDM no call out davido when him arrest damikrane and others ?
Bunch of hypocrites! 😂 selective activist. If dem born VDM mama well make him go hard on burna boy like he Dey always do to others. Pucy boy!”
