“Social media can say BURNA BOY started Boko haram, e no go shock me”-Burna Boy breaks silence following club shooting incident

Grammy award winnng singer, Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy, has finally broken silence following reports of a man landing in the hospital after being shot by the artiste’s police escort.

GISTLOVER recalls that days ago, a police officer attached to Burna Boy shot two persons at Club Cubana in Lagos State.

It was gathered that trouble started when the self acclaimed African Giant who was in the VIP section, invited a woman to join him. However, the lady’s husband was said to have lambasted the singer and the situation escalated.

“As things were getting heated, Ibrahim brought out his service pistol and shot multiple times while Burna Boy was laughing,” a senior police source said.

The five police escorts were arrested, however, Burna was said to have flown out to Spain less than 24 hours later.

In a Twitter post on Wednesday, the ‘Tonight’ singer said that he is not shocked by the social media space in Nigeria.

“Nigerian Social media can say BURNA BOY started Boko haram, e no go shock me,” he wrote.
