AY Makun, a popular actor and comedian, has spoken out against the unfortunate trajectory of social media in recent times.
Remember how the comedian sparked curiosity online after celebrating his “son” on his 17th birthday?
Some internet users even made harsh remarks in response to his Instagram post.
According to AY, social media has become a place for people to express their ignorance.
Any ignorant person who comes out and says something that elicits an emotional response from the audience is applauded.
This does not appear to be the case for a reasonable person who speaks out against popular opinion, as sentiments are more valuable than objective facts on social media.
He went on to explain that it’s amusing how certain people, based solely on what they see or feel, wear their ignorance with tremendous dignity and class.
