Following a recent video she posted on the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protest, netizens have resorted to actress Regina Daniels‘ comment section to mock her.
On her verified Instagram profile today, August 7th, 2024, actress Regina Daniel was seen in a rage as she slammed the #EndBadGovernance protesters in the north and other regions of the country.
According to the actress,
According to the actress whose husband Ned Nwoko is a senator, displaying a Russian flag during protest by the protesters is wrong, she also let them understand known that the protest has been hijacked by hoodlums who are not fighting for peace in the nation.
Actress Regina Daniels said people always accused her of being opportune and privileged whenever she preaches against violent protest which she agrees. However, the mother of two utters that she is not speaking for the government neither is she speaking for people to love her but she is totally against violent protest going on in the north.
Backing up her point, Reginal Daniels said that she has staff that includes, nannies, chefs, and gatemen and she understands the need to provide them with security and other extra bills. She concluded that Nigeria as a country can’t be changed in a day or by a man.
The above video did not go down well with many Nigerians as they took to the comment section to tackle the actress stressing that the actress cum senator wife do not know the extent at which people are suffering in the country only for her to come and raise her voice on them.
ahda: Ahhh Nigeria don really spoil, make Regina dey shout for us, for my own phone and my own data😂😂😂😂.
venisacj: Did you watch this video before posting it ? I guess u did not. Your speech made me speechless. What is our business with us and your workers ? People are protesting for their rights and you’re here splitting nonsense. Are you sure you’re okay?
raph_kinzo: If nor be country when spoil, u are supposed to be addressing ur fellow WAEC and NECO students.
prettytemmie_: Ori ee ti daru, see as you dey shout on your elders 😒.
miracle_edache1: Una Dey see things for this country fa. @regina.daniels why are you yelling???????😳😳😳 I am from thesame north ma’am KADUNA STATE to be precise . I no even vex reach how you take Dey vex sef. You don’t need us to love you????😳😳 Really??? Na you and Your family go Dey watch the movies wey you Dey act????😳 I have enough thing to say to you, but I go leave am. No sha follow us shout next time📌.
osy_cynthia: My darling Gina, your point is made but pls I want to also rember the adage saying a hungry man is an angry man.like this now I never eat this morning ooo😂😂😂 Regardless still love you.
chelshawdy: Mrs Ned… Small girl will you keep quiet … 🤫 Your speech is even making me speechless.
i_am_a_queen90: @regina.daniels firstly what is the aim of your speech, you just made a baseless points if you get mind come out and join the protest small picking dey advise her elder 🙆🙆🙆 God abeg we Nigeria are not ignorant we only want a change.
blessoraj: We don too praise this girl na why she dae shout for us. If no be bad government shei pikin suppose dae shout for elders.
_laura.baby: Why are you people angry? I thought you said na “Only Regina Daniels fit advise you “ 😭.
jessicaorishane: The people you’re talking to , protesting and holding the flags are not here on instagram…how do you intend to reach them with this message? please don’t come and be shouting on my own head fine girl 🥺.
enifomespeaks: Ignorant Nigerians? You’re even shouting. It’s not your fault dear. When elderly people are prostrating for you because of money why won’t you shout? Yes I understand that some people just comment without sense but what you need to know is that there are many people who made sense in their comments and if you are wise you would read those comments again, think very well and rest. No well meaning Nigerian is supporting the violence happening in the north in the name of protest. They have taken it to another level and it’s wrong. However, coming here to shout is not only demeaning and condescending but very unnecessary. I intended to scroll past but I had to say what needs to be said. If you’re so angry let it not just be in words but in action. What bold action do you intend to take to stop the corruption that Nigerians are protesting about? How can you remove yourself from it when you are a part of it and enjoy the dividends from it? If you can’t answer these questions then put off your Ringlight and rest in Jesus name please! There is enough hardship in the land and people are not just hungry, they are angry. Giving bags of rice or wrapper from the same corrupt money is not a real solution. If the people are truly empowered they will not need wrapper and rice all the time, they will be able to buy their own rice and if the government makes life bearable for Nigerians they won’t be crying. There is a lot of crime rate in Delta state due to all the nonsense happening there by corrupt politicians when we are rich in oil and so many things yet the people are suffering. So why are we pretending like the protest is the beginning and end of the problems? There is no excuse for violence but there is no excuse for this particular video where you are shouting. It is distasteful to say the least and reeks of hypocrisy.
