He used Esau’s rash act of exchanging his birthright for a dinner to demonstrate how acting in desperation can lead to poor decisions, especially when marriage is involved.
Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo, who is well-known for his views on relationships and marriages, has revealed some women’s top priorities.
In a tweet, he underlined that some women place marriage above all other considerations, including their relationship with God, their personal well-being, and the well-being of their future children.
He emphasised the importance of personal fulfilment, stating that before a woman can be content in a marriage, she must first find delight in her single life.
Using the biblical story of Esau, Pastor Okonkwo demonstrated that rash actions seldom end well.
He used Esau’s rash act of exchanging his birthright for a dinner to demonstrate how acting in desperation can lead to poor decisions, especially when marriage is involved.
He wrote: “Some women place marriage above God, above their own well being and even that of their unborn children.
“Anything done in desperation never births something good …ask Esau.
“Ladies one of the major steps to being happily married is being happily single.”
