South Africa COVID-19 Recovery Rate Hit Close To 92%.
The world has noticed the striking rise in COVID-19 cases that has had serious implications on people’s health and healthcare services. Most countries are gradually recovery from Covid-19 at a higher rate which is a positive sign to the world.
On Thursday, The Heath Minister, Dr Zweli Mkhize, said South Africa’s COVID-19 recovery rate is closely hitting 92%. According to the Minister, 671,579 positive patients recovered since the outbreak which amount to a recovery rate of 91.7%.
In the interim, the total number of COVID-19 cases is 732,414 after 1,866 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours.
Moreover, 92 more patient have died as a result from respiratory disease, which has increased the toll to 19,677.
27 of the death are from the Eastern Cape, 23 from the North West and 17 from Free State.
