    It is important to note that one of the primary reasons for Chidimma’s disqualification was linked to allegations of her involvement in an identity theft case.

    The South African Department of Home Affairs has identified the individual whose identity was allegedly stolen by Chidimma Adetshina’s mother.

    The report indicated that the victim of this identity theft was unable to register her child due to the actions of Adetshina’s mother.

    Following the identification and confirmation of the identity theft victim, the Department of Home Affairs has initiated legal proceedings to revoke the former Miss SA contestant’s citizenship. As reported by Africa’s Fact Zone, the findings and relevant details regarding Chidimma Adetshina’s situation have been submitted to the South African parliament.

    It has been confirmed that Chidimma’s identity document will be annulled while discussions regarding the potential revocation of her citizenship are ongoing.
