Nigerian singer Darlington Okoye, known as Speed Darlington, is preparing to leave Abuja just hours after being released from detention.
His lawyer, Stan Alieke, announced the good news on Tuesday, January 21.
Alieke also posted several photos of himself with Speed Darlington in his office following the singer’s release.
The lawyer and activist, who helped the singer get released, posted photos of himself with Speed Darlington at Nnamdi Azikwe airport.
Adeyanju mentioned that he had just dropped the singer off, suggesting Speed Darlington was about to leave the federal capital territory.
One photo captured the singer smiling, contrasting with his more serious look in earlier pictures after his release.
“Just dropped off Akpi at the airport,” Adeyanju shared a caption with the pictures on his X account, which was previously known as Twitter.
