Controversial Nigerian artist Darlington Okoye, better known as Speed Darlington or Akpi, has released a new song that includes some contentious lyrics.
He shared a video of himself in the studio with a producer, giving fans a taste of his new track titled Baby Oil.
In the clip, Speed Darlington recounted his experience of being detained by the police.
His video caption ignited reactions online, as many social media users speculated about a connection between Burna Boy and Diddy, who recently made headlines for having 1000 bottles of baby oil in his home.
Speed Darlington wrote in the caption:
“New music #BabyOli; looking for illustrator to draw me holding 1000 bottles of baby oil. I need it today or tomorrow paying 17K.”

According to GistLover, Akpi apologized to Burna Boy on October 16, but later claimed that his lawyer, Stan Alieke, pressured him into giving the apology.
