Speed Darlington, a controversial Nigerian musician and former presidential candidate, has been criticizing Burna Boy. He connects Burna Boy to P. Diddy, who is currently in legal trouble with the FBI for alleged illegal activities.

Darlington shared his views on social media about why he thinks Burna Boy, a major music star in Nigeria, could win his category at the upcoming 2025 Grammy Awards.

The nominations for the 2025 Grammys were recently announced, showcasing a lineup of talented artists, albums, and songs competing for awards at the 67th annual event. This ceremony is set for February 2 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and will honor recordings released between September 16, 2023, and August 30, 2024.

Burna Boy, recognized for his hit songs, has been nominated for Best African Music Performance for his song ‘Higher’ from the album “I Told Them.” This is his second time being nominated in this category.

In a new video, Speed Darlington stated that Burna Boy will win the 2025 Grammy Awards due to his sexuality, causing a lot of chatter online.

According to Speed, Burna Boy, who refers to himself as Odogwu, does not want to have children because he enjoys being with men.

In his words, “There is a video where they asked long face about fatherhood and he said he is not interested. That got me thinking that he does not want a child because he likes sleeping with men. He is gay, you will see that he is going to win Grammy Award.”
