Nollywood actor, Stan Nze has won his first international award for his role in the remake of Play Network Studios’ ‘Rattlesnake.’
On Tuesday, June 7, 2022, the acclaimed actor won the ‘Best African Actor’ prize at the Septimius award in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
In an Instagram post announcing his victory, Nze expressed his gratitude to his supporters in an emotional statement.
Stan Nze was nominated alongside seven other South African and Nigerian actors, including Netflix’s Thabo Rametsi from “Silverton Siege.” ‘Rattlesnake: The Ahanna Story,’ directed by Ramsey Nouah and produced by Play Network Studios, won the award for the actor’s performance as the title character.
The famous Septimius award is given to honor those who have made significant contributions to the world.
The 2022 edition was held in Amsterdam on June 6-7.
