“Stop allowing your ego come between you and Pasuma”– KWAM 1 confronted Taye Currency at a recent event

  • Kwam 1 has entered the heated dispute between his junior colleague Taye Currency, and veteran Pasuma.
  • The drama began when Taye Currency, while performing on stage, openly claimed that Pasuma was not his “father” in the Fuji music world.
  • His remarks were sharp and clearly aimed at making a strong point.

King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal 1, widely recognized as Kwam 1 or K1 De Ultimate, has entered the heated dispute between his junior colleague, Taye Akande Adebisi, known as Taye Currency, and the respected veteran Wasiu Alabi Pasuma. Many view this as a serious act of disrespect.

The drama began when Taye Currency, while performing on stage, openly claimed that Pasuma, despite their long-standing relationship, was not his “father” in the Fuji music world.

His remarks were sharp and clearly aimed at making a strong point.

Taye had been supportive of Pasuma in the past, but this time he made a distinction: Pasuma was his older brother, but not important enough in the Fuji hierarchy to be a father figure in his life or career.

This statement did not go over well in the Fuji community, especially with Pasuma. Known for his humility and respected position, Pasuma quickly responded to Taye’s comments with a sharp reply.

In the midst of this conflict, K1 De Ultimate, a prominent figure in Fuji music, decided to intervene. He didn’t want to stay on the sidelines while the Fuji family was in conflict, so he addressed the issue directly during a live performance.

His words reflected years of experience in the industry and the respect that comes from being a legend.

He turned to Taye Currency with a strong message. Kwam 1 told Taye to set aside his pride, emphasizing that no matter his success or influence, honoring those who came before him is essential.

Kwam 1 sang with deep feeling, stating that Pasuma will always be like a father to him, not just due to age in the industry but also for the part he played in Taye’s journey.

In a striking moment, he shifted his attention to Pasuma. A trending video from the event featured Kwam 1 offering Pasuma thoughtful advice, telling him to move past the hurt and not take Taye’s words too seriously.

He emphasized that as a veteran and respected elder in the Fuji industry, Pasuma should be able to handle criticism from younger artists without it affecting him.
