Popular actress, Ufuoma McDermott, has advised young people to stop age-shaming people and calling them ‘old’ as an insult.
The 40-year-old thespian stated this in a post she shared on her Instagram page on Monday, December 27. According to her, aging is a gift from God and not a curse or stigma.
She added that there will come a time when we will all look back and realize we are no longer young. The mum-of-two also prayed for God keep everyone alive to a good old age.
She wrote,
“There will come a time when we will look back and we’re no longer young.
We should stop saying #OldWoman Or #OldMan Like say na insult. #Aging is actually a gift from God. May we all #live to be #old and #gray IJN”
