The popular Nigerian actress, Didi Ekanem took to social media to give detailed reasons why strangers support your business more than people you know.

Friends and family don’t support your business because they don’t want you to be more successful than them among several other reasons, according to her.

In her words:

 “Do you know why strangers support your business more than the people you know? It is because they have a tough time accepting the fact that you came from the same place while they’re still at the same place.

 “Because they don’t want you to be better than them, they don’t want to be a part of your growth, they don’t want you to be successful and that is the reason why they’re not supporting your business. But you know the truth? You don’t need your friends to become successful, let that sink in”
