After being ridiculed by his fellow countrymen over the results of the AFCON championship, well-known Nigerian football player Iwobi removed every image and video from the photo and video sharing app Instagram.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria were defeated 2:1 by the host team, Ivory Coast, in the AFCON 2023 final.
Nigerians have been criticizing the coach and a few players after the loss, but Iwobi, the Fulham player, is at the top of the social media dragging chart.
Iwobi was severely criticized for his terrible performance against Ivory Coast in the AFCON final, and the coach eventually took him out of the game.
A guy was shown in one of the videos circulating regarding Iwobi displaying the content of the football player’s Instagram (IG) page.
The man claims that Iwobi, a football player, is not a serious player and that he is constantly having fun and showing off.
It was mentioned by him that Iwobi never uploaded a video of himself training; instead, he was constantly acting like a big kid, with only four films showing him wearing a jersey.
Iwobi deleted all of his photos and videos in response to all of this dragging because he could no longer take it anymore.

aycomedian: It doesn’t make sense at all. He came back home with the fullest intentions to serve his father land. Some you here have failed in your various responsibilities in life. Begging money online or expecting others to take care of you is failure .. your inability not to take care of yourselves at Iwobi’s age is failure. Coming on line and trolling him is also a result of your failure. If una get work una no go get all the time . Fail fail.
steveheadmaxter: TUNDE EDNUT I’m really a big fan and love you but this is wicked of you! You set him up for Drag and still post this nonsense about people cursing him! This is really really wicked of you.
paulcleverlee: So now, how does the dragging encourage other Nigerian/European football prospects play for the motherland? So what should Ghanians now do to their players that didn’t make it pass group stage?
iamremote: It’s actually unfair ooo Koda o… this people are all humans too now.
josh_ehi: Why were you posting his pictures asking what people think about him..you are part of the reason and karma will catch up with you
