According to Dr. Festus Akande, the Supreme Court’s spokesperson, only one chamber of the structure was damaged by the fire that broke out on Monday morning.
Soon after the Court’s Fire Service Department extinguished the fire, Akande revealed this on The Morning Show of Arise News Channel.
A portion of the apex court building, which is located in Abuja’s Three Arms Zone, was destroyed by fire, GISTLOVER had earlier reported.
