Suspended RCCG Pastor Idowu Iluyomade Launches New Church

• Former senior pastor of City of David Parish, suspended due to wife’s birthday party criticisms, has opened a church in Victoria Island, Lagos.

• Videos from a church service on January 19th show the clergyman dancing with his congregation, but his wife, Siju Iluyomade, is absent.

Suspended RCCG clergyman Pastor Idowu Iluyomade has officially inaugurated his church, Family Fellowship.

The former senior pastor of the City of David Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), who faced suspension due to backlash surrounding his wife’s birthday celebration, has established his church in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Footage from the inaugural service, which took place on Sunday, January 19th, is currently circulating online. In the video, the clergyman is observed dancing with congregants as they express their gratitude to God during the service. Notably, his wife, Siju Iluyomade, was absent from the footage.

In other news, Prominent activist VeryDarkMan has asserted that the mother of the late singer Mohbad possesses knowledge regarding his death and is concealing pertinent information.

This assertion was made in response to her behavior during a press conference convened to advocate for justice for Mohbad.

During the event, Mohbad’s mother confronted Nigerian actor Yomi Fabiyi, who had accused her son’s brother of soliciting ₦3 million in exchange for a video purportedly depicting a confrontation between the singer and his spouse.

The accusation provoked immediate outrage at the conference, prompting Mohbad’s mother to interject and vehemently denounce Fabiyi for what she characterized as disparaging comments about her only surviving son.

In light of these events, VeryDarkMan concluded that she is aware of critical details surrounding Mohbad’s death and is deliberately withholding them.

He further speculated whether any promises had been made to her in exchange for her silence.
