Swedish rapper Gaboro has been shot and killed in a tragic gang-related incident.
This happened on the evening of Thursday, December 19, in a parking lot in Norrköping, according to Aftonbladet, a Swedish newspaper.
A disturbing video of the shooting has appeared on social media, causing public anger.
In a 19-second video taken from a first-person angle, a man approaches another person next to a white SUV while armed.
Gunshots ring out, and the victim falls, pleading for mercy in Swedish. The attacker continues to shoot, leaving the victim unresponsive.
Authorities have not yet verified the video’s authenticity or its relation to the murder.
Police reports indicate that officers received a call about a shooting at 8:27 p.m. When they arrived, they found a young man in his 20s suffering from several gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital but unfortunately died there.
The police have not officially named the victim, but they mentioned that he was familiar to them.
Mats Pettersson, a spokesperson for the East Region police, stated, “We know who he is and have significant prior knowledge of him.”
Gaboro, who was becoming well-known in Sweden’s music scene, was said to have ties to criminal groups, which might have made him a target.
The police are said to be looking into the case, concentrating on possible gang links and a video that has been shared widely.
