Ayra Starr, a Grammy Award nominee, has expressed her regret in public for disrespecting veteran singer King Sunny Ade after being moved by a video of herself that went viral online. Since a new video of the "Rush" singer appeared online, people have been talking about Ayra Starr. In the video, she is seen standing and extending a warm greeting to musician King Sunny Ade, who is 77 years old. Netizens severely criticize the Mavin Records signee for ignoring Burnaboy's mother when they pass by.At the Afrozons Pre-Grammy party, which was hosted by Heineken NG, this happened yesterday, January 26, 2024. In response to the internet teasing, Ayra Starr stated that she is a proper Yoruba girl and that the lights and nerves after her entrance carried her away. She also added that she didn't mean to be disrespectful. Ayra Starr noted that she had performed a U-Turn by greeting everyone properply including Sunny Ade, Burna Boy's mother, and other people.  In a post that was uploaded via her page on the well-known microblogging site X, formerly known as Twitter. Ayra Starr wrote;” 😭😭 I’m so sorry , I had just walked in and all the lights and nerves didn’t let me see but i came back around to greet everyone properly, I have never been that girl to be disrespectful, I’m a proper Yoruba girlllll and the video didn’t start until after I’d greeted burna’s mom ! The woman, going under the handle @edna_reese, claimed that the singer had herpes in a string of tweets that she made on January 2, 2024, on X (previously Twitter) on her social media website. She made her comment in reaction to the artist posting a romantic selfie online. @edna_reese cited the tweet in response to the singer's images, asserting that the artist is infected with the herpes virus. She wrote: ‘Rasaki wicked herpes giver. Omo! Love and light to you.’ A few days later, the woman disclosed that she had been detained not long after claiming that L.A.X had the herpes virus in a fresh post on her social profile. She continued by saying that she had been held for two days before being freed. She also stated in her statement that she was demanding 500 million Naira for the singer's alleged slander. He emphasised that reality stars should not let followers' opinions to overpower their real-life decisions and relationships.
