The body of Deborah Samuel was buried in Tunga Magajiya, Rijau Local Government Area, Niger State.
Deborah Samuel, a female student of Sokoto’s Shehu Shagari College of Education, was burned to death by her colleagues on Thursday for supposed blasphemy.
Deborah was stoned to death and afterward set ablaze by an irate mob of largely college students as Gistlover had earlier reported.
Deborah’s body was reportedly transported in a hired bus on Saturday. Her family members later buried her, accusing the Sokoto State Government of failing to appropriately handle the situation.
Meanwhile, there has been a barrage of agitations demanding that Justice is served for the deceased and her family.
