Tems Breaks Silence After Grammy Win, Credits Success to Divine Grace

Nigerian music sensation Tems has finally spoken out following her 2025 Grammy victory, where she won the award for Best African Music Performance.

The talented singer, known for her soulful voice and unique sound, took to social media to express her gratitude and humility, attributing her success to divine intervention.

Tems clinched the prestigious award with her hit song “Love Me JeJe”, surpassing top artists like Yemi Alade, Asake, Chris Brown, Davido, Lojay, and Burna Boy. This milestone marks her second Grammy win, reinforcing her position as one of Africa’s most influential artists.

With a total of eight Grammy nominations in her career, including three at this year’s event, Tems continues to make history on the global stage.

In another report, Nigerian socialite Cubana Chief Priest took a subtle swipe at Afrobeats singer Burna Boy after he lost out at the 67th Grammy Awards.

In a cryptic post, Cubana Chief Priest implied that Tems won in the Best African Music Performance category because American rapper P. Diddy was in police custody.

On his IG stories, he wrote: “If to say Diddy dey outside, dem for use Johnson baby oil rub away her Grammy.”
