A family is pursuing legal action against their tenant for unlawfully converting their property into a nightclub.
A family member, known as @itspronouncedmeekuh on TikTok, shared a viral video that highlighted this unexpected situation.
She mentioned that after hearing some rumors, they decided to visit the property unannounced and discovered it had been entirely transformed into a bar and lounge.
She also noted that the tenant had not been paying rent and had ignored all their attempts to contact him. To make matters worse, he was advertising the nightclub on social media, promoting its rooms as private suites.
“We heard some rumours and decided to make a surprise visit only to realise he modified the entire property without consent,” she revealed.
The video has gained significant attention online, leading to conversations about tenant rights, property misuse, and the legal repercussions of unauthorized changes.
Reacting, Blessing on TikTok wrote, “To be honest, the only thing that would vex me is the unpaid rent. Because the renovations look good🤭.”
Another user Britouestore added, “if it was my house, I will only negotiate with him for a percentage every month and let him be😂😂.”
