Nigerian singer Teniola Apata, known as Teni, made a surprise visit to her old school, Apata Memorial, which was founded by her late father, Simeon Olaosebikan Apata.
In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, she donned a custom school uniform from Apata Memorial as she arrived at the school.
When the students saw the Afrobeats star, they were thrilled and surprised, shouting loudly with excitement.
Teni spoke to the young champions and shared that she used to be a student at the same school.
She also asked about the best singer in the school, and a few students stepped forward to perform and dance to her latest song, Money.
The successful artist was particularly impressed by one singer who hit all the right notes. She promised to cover her school fees and even offered to pay for the selected student’s first year of university.
