Tension Flares At Real Housewives Of Lagos Reunion As Sophia Momodu And Dabota Lawson Clash Over Boat Ownership

Drama unfolded during the Real Housewives of Lagos reunion as tensions between Sophia Momodu, singer Davido’s first baby mama, and her co-star Dabota Lawson nearly escalated into a full-blown fight.

The heated exchange stemmed from an earlier incident on the show, where Sophia claimed she had arranged a private boat trip and invited some of the housewives, leaving Dabota out of the plans. This move sparked friction between the two.

During the reunion, a clip circulating online shows the women reigniting their feud while host Uti Nwachukwu tried to mediate. Dabota challenged Sophia’s claim about the boat, insisting it didn’t belong to her. According to Dabota, the vessel was actually owned by another woman whose child’s name was visible on it — someone Dabota said is friends with her own daughter.

Taking it further, Dabota accused Sophia of not being truthful about owning the luxurious house she showcased during the show. When Sophia attempted to clarify her side regarding the boat’s ownership, Dabota cut her off, expressing her frustration.

Despite the drama, Dabota maintained she only wanted unity among the housewives, even if the reunion suggested otherwise.
