US-based Nigerian dancer and singer Korra Obidi faced a harrowing ordeal as wildfires engulfed parts of Los Angeles, forcing her to evacuate her newly purchased mansion.
The wildfires, fueled by strong winds and dry conditions, erupted earlier this week, leaving a trail of destruction and prompting widespread evacuations. Emergency responders worked tirelessly to combat the flames, but rising death tolls and property losses underscored the severity of the disaster.
Korra took to Facebook to share her terrifying experience, capturing the chaos and fear of the moment. She recounted how warnings from emergency teams heightened her resolve to prioritize safety for herself and her children.
Documenting her evacuation, Korra described the painful process of gathering essentials and leaving her home behind. She sought refuge with her two daughters at her godmother’s house, located far from the fire’s path, praying that the flames wouldn’t follow.
The emotional ordeal has sparked an outpouring of support from fans and followers, who commended Korra’s strength and wished her and her family safety during this challenging time.
