The Age “7” Is Very Right For Children To Get Married – Islamic Scholars Explains

Some Islamic scholars in Nigeria have explained why, and at what age early marriage should be encouraged.

In a  regular seminar anchored by one of the chief islamic scholar, Mohummed El Hassin, which was shared by Femi Fani-Kayode on twitter ,the scholars revealed  that polygamy is something that was given to the people “from the almighty”,

The discussion continued as the scholars also explained why early marriage should be encouraged. One of them explain in his best understanding, and from experience, that early marriage (within the age of 6- 7years) helps the children to grow into a useful citizens in the society.  

Mohummed El Hassin also said that engaging in sexual activities with spouses at such early age (6 -7 years) is not unlawful, in his word, “there is nothing wrong with that” .
