Veteran Nigerian music producer and record executive ID Cabasa has expressed his belief that numerous individuals in Nigeria’s entertainment industry require emotional healing.

He noted that Nigerians often ridicule and pass judgment on those who are undergoing personal recovery. In a recent post on his X account, ID Cabasa emphasized that many individuals seek closure; however, when they attempt to voice their struggles, they often encounter division, as “People pick a side” instead of offering support.

In other news, Nigerian media figure Shade Ladipo has expressed her views on the ongoing conflict between singer Spyro and music executive Pauloo. On January 16, 2035, Ladipo defended Spyro through her Instagram stories, asserting that he had not spoken any falsehoods regarding the music industry.

She wrote, “PaulO na my Oga but Spyro did not tell a single lie. There are teeeww many jokers in this Nigerian Music scene who believe because they have existed in that ecosystem and have some form of influence all of a sudden understand talent or recordmanagement. In response, Pauloo posted a series of messages on social media, questioning Spyro’s narrative and expressing skepticism regarding the allegations, while sharing social media evidence to counter his claims. Nevertheless, Spyro maintained his position, asserting that he was treated poorly at the label.

He said in part, “I didn’t lie, Oga Paulo. Your receipts even validate my point. I vividly recall being stranded after One Africa at Wembley because my hotel booking was only for one day. I spent hours in the cold before someone arranged an Airbnb for me. I went days without food until a kind lady helped me out.”
