For the first time, comedian AY has addressed his viral joke about Davido, which earned him taunts and curses from his followers.
In a now-viral video, AY made a delicate joke on stage about Davido’s ability to conceive a large number of children despite having a small manhood.
AY told Toke Makinwa in an interview that he told the joke to a crowd while on tour and that it was one of the funniest parts of his performance.
He did, however, add that Amaju Pinnick’s criticism of Davido for owing money coincided with the video’s viral success, making the response strange and out of place.
Although Davido responded in a way that shows he was unbothered about the joke, AY continued, it didn’t stop his fans, who see themselves as his messiah and defender, from attacking him.
Additionally, he claimed that the joke was exaggerated by sensationalism, the devilish headlines bloggers attacked it with, and the lack of investigation by Nigerians.
