On Monday, the Iranian government issued an arrest warrant against Donald Trump and other suspects reacting to the death of its ex-military commander, Qasem Soleimani.
Following the January 3 attack that led to the demise of the commander, Ali Alqasimehr, Tehran prosecutor has doled out that Donald Trump together with 30 others will face murder and terrorism charges.
It could be recollected that the US military launched an airstrike that killed General Soleimani outside Baghdad International airport. However, his death caused a worldwide protest.
Iranian Revolutionary Guards promised to strike Israel and other US allies reacting to the effect of the airstrike.
In response, Trump cautioned Tehran that 52 Iranian sites would be targeted if Iran attacks Americans.
He wrote on Twitter,
Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets, we have targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago)
Nevertheless, Iran has issued a warrant of arrest and requested for assistance from Interpol to help detain US President Donald Trump and other suspects who were allegedly involved in the drone strike that killed General Qasem Soleimani.
