Wumi Toriola, an actress, has given her senior colleague Iyabo Ojo praise in the midst of their ongoing feud with social media influencer VeryDarkMan.
Iyabo Ojo had been referred to by VDM as a failed actress and accused her of some outrageous behaviour, while controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo had expressed similar views.
Wumi Toriola praised Iyabo Ojo for being a versatile actress who still graces screens today by posting pictures of her colleague on her Instagram account.
Wumi Toriola portrays Iyabo Ojo, a mother of two, as a symbol of resilience in her post. She emphasized that she was a strong, dignified woman with a feisty, sensitive, and fearless attitude.
She penned: “#WCW A SYMBOL OF RESILIENCE @iyaboojofespris. The world needs strong women like you. Women who will lift and build others, who will love and be loved. Women who live bravely, both tender and fierce. You are clothed in strength and dignity,”
Wumi Toriola proceeded to proclaim Iyabo Ojo a queen who wears multiple crowns, indicating that she is a woman with excellent intents as well.
She added:
“A woman who wears so many crowns. Always on the right side of history. A QUEEN! A woman with good intentions but highly misconstrued, supportive, loving, and never judging,”
Wumi Toriola acknowledged the distinguished career of Iyabo Ojo and prayed for the actress’s perseverance.
She concluded;
“You’ve graced our screens for decades and at this very point, you still make it worth it. May God continue to strengthen you. May your light continue to shine bright. As a woman, I am sending you so much love and hugs this morning. Take your flowers, QUEEN MOTHER. I stan, and restan,”
