Yul Edochie has warned his followers in a recent Instagram post not to ignore the value of Jesus’ name, claiming that doing so marked the beginning of one’s demise.
While conceding that certain components of religion may be erroneous or manipulated to serve human purposes, Yul emphasized that the name of Jesus has intrinsic force.
He urged his followers to research history, emphasising that those who spoke out against the power of Jesus’ name did not end well.
He wrote:
“There is power in the name of Jesus.
Never you say there’s no power in the name.
You can fault the white man’s religion.
Yes, some parts of it have been altered to suit men and not God
But never you say there’s no power in the name JESUS.
It always marks the beginning of downfall.
Read history, people who have said such in the past never ended well”.
In another message, Yul Edochie advised his followers to Spend their savings now before death calls
The actor, who last year founded an online church, took to Instagram to share his thoughts, urging his followers to spend their money generously rather than hoarding it.
In a video post, Yul , speaking in pidgin English, advised his fans to “chop their money” and to share some with others in need, warning that if they don’t, someone else will end up spending it after they die.
His remarks quickly sparked a wave of reactions, with many fans expressing their disapproval.
Yul Edochie, known for his outspoken nature, further elaborated on his views by stating that life was not as serious as people made it out to be, emphasizing that everyone would eventually die.
