A lawyer known as Egi Nupe has asserted that there is no significant distinction between artists Davido and Portable.
This assertion was made in response to Davido’s recent criticism of the Osun State Commissioner of Police.
It is important to note that Davido publicly addressed Commissioner CP Mohammed Umar Abba on Monday, accusing him of issuing directives that could incite disorder.
This incident followed Governor Ademola Adeleke’s condemnation of Minister Gboyega Oyetola for allegedly attempting to create unrest in Osun State by seeking to reinstate dismissed local council chairpersons.
Davido expressed his concerns on Instagram, sharing an image of the police commissioner and urging adherence to the rule of law.
He wrote, “Mr commissioner respect the rule of law!!! You are not madder or crazier than us !! Make we all kuru mad !! MEN MOUNT WALAI TO KRF!!! I will post u every day everywhere Mr man !!! Try me fucker.”
In response, Egi Nupe took to his X page to challenge the singer, asserting that the primary difference between Davido and Portable lies in their financial status and influence.
He wrote, “Remove money, there is actually no difference between this guy and Portable.”
