“There’s Possibility For Female President And Vice President In Nigeria”- DJ Cuppy

    She highlighted Namibia’s recent milestone as the first African nation to have both a female President and Vice President, describing it as a source of inspiration for Nigerian women.

    Taking to her X handle, DJ Cuppy praised Namibia’s achievement, expressing confidence that such progress could be mirrored in Nigeria in the future.

    In a statement on her X handle, Cuppy said, “Namibia just made history.

    “Africa’s FIRST country with BOTH a female President AND female Vice President.

    “Maybe there’s hope for Nigeria one day after all…”

    GistLover has announced that Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has been inaugurated as Namibia’s first female President, following her election victory last year.

    The Vice President, Lucia Witbooi, is also a woman, making Namibia the first African nation to have both a female President and Vice President.

    In other news, Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has addressed those pressuring her to get married, questioning why she is being labeled as “old” at just 32.

    Taking to social media, the music star expressed her frustration over the age-related expectations, wondering what people in their 40s would be called if she were considered old.

    She tweeted:

    “I am 32 years old, and some of you people are calling me old. If that is the case, what are we calling people in their 40s? Prehistoric? Fossilized? Museum exhibits? Nawa.”

    DJ Cuppy’s relationship status has been a topic of discussion among fans and netizens, with many often questioning when she will settle down.

    In February, she confidently stated that Valentine’s Day 2025 would be her last as an unmarried woman. She has previously shared that her ideal partner would be a tall man, preferably a banker.

    Her most publicized relationship was with British boxer Ryan Taylor, to whom she got engaged in November 2022. However, the engagement ended in July 2023, just seven months later.
