Maria Chike Benjamin, a Big Brother Naija ‘Shine ya eyes’ housemate, is expecting her first child.

The reality star, who is dating Dubai businessman Kevin, broke the happy news on her Instagram page just moments ago.

Maria mentioned in a touching video of herself displaying her baby bump that this new chapter is called blessed.

She expressed her excitement at her new blessing, saying she can’t wait to meet her bundle of joy.

“This chapter is called Blessed. With our hearts filled with so much love and happiness, we can’t wait to meet you”.

Maria Chike, a well-known reality star, cleared up rumors that she had broken up the marriage of her boyfriend, Kelvin.

This was covered in a recent interview with media personality Chude by the BBNaija star.

It will be remembered that the former air hostess had revealed her lover, Kelvin Anene, who was said to be married.

Recall that back in 2021, the reality TV star was accused of snatching Kelvin from his wife by Nigerian socialite, Cubana Chiefpriest, who said the victim is his sister.

Maria, however, did not confirm or refute the rumour until July 2022, when she went on a Twitter rage to address the rumour ‘once and for all’.

She stated that she did not ruin anybody’s home or snatch anybody’s husband, adding that she choose to remain silent about the rumour for the best interest of those involved.

Maria revealed in the most recent interview that when she and her boyfriend first started dating, she was unaware that he was married.

She remarked that she couldn’t fathom why some people would believe that she had broken up his marriage.

Maria insisted that she didn’t ruin Kelvin’s marriage.
