Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian artist Mohbad, continues to grieve the loss of his son, as evidenced by a recent video that has emerged online.

This development follows accusations from Mohbad’s mother, who has claimed that Wunmi is unlawfully withholding her son’s assets. She expressed regret for her previous support of Wunmi, stating that she should have backed her ex-husband, Mohbad’s father, instead.

It is important to remember that Mohbad, whose full name was Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27.

His death has sparked considerable controversy, with various individuals, including his former manager Naira Marley, Sam Larry, his wife Wunmi, and others, being implicated in the circumstances surrounding it.

In the newly surfaced video, Mohbad’s father appears visibly affected during a TikTok live session, where he is seen enjoying his son’s popular song “Sorry.”

In this track, Mohbad reflects on the sacrifices made by his father, who supported him through his education despite facing financial hardships after his mother departed for a decade.

The emotional display from Mohbad’s father underscores the profound impact of his son’s untimely death.

Over the months, he has been vocal about seeking the autopsy and toxicology results related to Mohbad’s passing and has also called for a DNA test to verify the paternity of Mohbad’s son, Liam.
