Postinor 1 contains one 1.5 mg tablet of levonorgestrel progestogen while Postinor 2 contains 2.0 mg. For Postinor 1, one tablet 12 hours after unprotected sex while Postinor 2 should be taken first immediately after sex then another within 12 hours of taking the first one. According to studies, Postinor 2 has a higher success rate than Postinor 1.
