Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B has expressed that the TikTok ban in the United States will not affect her.
It’s important to note that TikTok was closed in the U.S. on January 19 after its Chinese owners did not comply with a law from President Joe Biden that required them to sell the platform by April 2024.
Following the ban, a social media user named @1lex commented that rappers like Cardi B, who use TikTok to promote their music, should consider different careers.
Cardi B replied, mentioning that she had a $7 million offer to produce her own line of vitamins, along with other opportunities.
The user wrote: “Now, all the female TikTok rappers gotta find real jobs. You first, @imcardib.”
Responding, Cardi B: “Babe, I’m getting a $7 million offer to do my own vitamins. I can retire you from your flipping burger job by tomorrow. Thank me though; I’ve been helping you get your $8.99 Twitter check.”
