Renowned Afrobeats singer Timaya has voiced his concerns over the destruction of farmlands and vegetation in his home state, Bayelsa, allegedly caused by herders. The artist took to his X page to highlight the worsening situation, calling on the government to intervene and protect farmers from further losses.

Expressing his sadness, Timaya emphasized how the destruction of farmlands is not just an economic setback but also a threat to food security and local livelihoods.
