Tinubu, Kwankwaso absent as Atiku, Obi, Shettima attend NBA conference

The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu,  was absent at the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) conference on Monday.

Similarly, Rabiu Kwankwaso, standard bearer of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), also failed to show up at the event.

The presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, the Labour Party, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, respectively were present at the event.

The vice-presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Kashim Shettima, is also present at the event to represent the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

The 2022 NBA AGM is themed, “BOLD Transitions” and its General Conference is expected to hold between August 19 and 26, with the opening ceremony happening today (Monday).

Also present at the event are Governors Solomon Lalong and Godwin Obaseki of Plateau and Edo states respectively.

The Lagos State Attorney General, Moyosore Onigbanjo, is representing Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the state, while the Chief Judge of the state, Kazeem Alogba, is also present.

The Keynote Speaker at the event is the award-winning Nigerian writer, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
