Tiwatope Omolara, also known as Tiwa Savage, has turned to social media to mark her late father’s posthumous birthday today.
You may recall that the Afrobeat queen announced the father’s death on July 19, 2021.
Tiwa Savage stated it was a peaceful transition and that, despite terrible years in the past, he fought fiercely till the end.
The singer marked her father’s posthumous birthday by sharing a photo on her Instagram account nearly three years after he died.
Captioning the photo, she wrote: “Happy birthday daddy. Continue to rest in perfect peace❤️🕊️”
Tiwa Savage celebrated her 44th birthday on February 5.
She conveyed her appreciation and devotion to everyone who sent her messages and made her feel very special on her birthday.
She wrote: “Thank you for all the love and messages. I’m trying to respond to all. Yesterday you all made me feel truly special ❤️”
