Media figure Gbemi Olateru has said that to get rich quickly in Nigeria, you just need to forget your upbringing.
She shared this opinion while commenting on the recent trend of celebrities and socialites buying Lamborghinis.
In a tweet on Sunday, Gbemi expressed her sadness that people feel they must compromise their morals to succeed quickly.
She urged her followers to think about whether that is the type of success they truly desire.
She wrote, “If you want to be rich and famous quickly in this country, you have to lose your home training /shame/morals. “Is that the kind you want though?”
Gbemi’s opinion has elicited reactions from Nigerians.
@UnlimitedEniola, “You will pay through your nose to undo those things you earned throwing home training away. If you like listen to people who say any way is a way. You will say ‘Had I know’
@Viva_asubz“All the shame, morals, schooling and home training what has it even brought me.
@yinkaobebe, “There are people making money quietly and responsibly. That shameless, loud, and immoral mindset is a bubble. We must avoid glorifying it or making it seem like the only option.
@cloudartprints, “You’ve said it all sis
No shame and morals in thought again.
