Davido, the award-winning Nigerian artist, wowed the crowd with his legendary performance at the Black Entertainment Television (BET) awards, which sparked a social media frenzy.
The hitmaker performed a mashup of his hit songs ‘Feel’ and ‘Unavailable’ off his newest album, ‘Timeless’ at the 23rd BET awards on Sunday night at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.
His appearance marked him the second Nigerian musician to play at “Culture’s Biggest Night” following Fireboy DML, who did it last year while riding the ‘Peru’ wave.
As he penned down his 5-year encounter with a cultural speech, Davido released an excerpt of his performance.
He wrote, “5 years ago today i graced this same stage with a speech exporting the culture . Today , We are the culture ! Thank you so much @bet @betawards ❤️⏳, 🌍 Catch y’all on tour in a few days !”
