A young child, whose parents are attempting to introduce her to the Igbo language through Igbo cartoons, has shown resistance to this approach.
The child, identified as Elora, was recorded while watching television; however, when the Igbo cartoon began, she promptly closed her eyes and maintained this position for as long as possible to evade viewing it.
After a while, she reopened her eyes but appeared distressed as she continued to watch.
Her mother remarked in the video caption, “She doesn’t want to watch Igbo cartoons… no more cocomelon.”
