Media personality Toke Makinwa recently organized a praise breakfast with her close friends, celebrating the conclusion of the year with a spirit of gratitude and introspection.
The event showcased uplifting performances by gospel artist Adeyinka Alaseyori and several other performers.
Toke Makinwa articulated her reflections on the past year, highlighting the significance of recognizing God’s benevolence amidst life’s adversities.
She conveyed her appreciation for being spared from the judgments of others and for the chance to enhance her relationship with God.
She contemplated how her faith has guided her through challenging periods, allowing her to discover freedom, bravery, and resilience throughout her spiritual journey.
She captioned her post:
“Ending the year with immense GRATITUDE…..I decided to throw a praise breakfast with a small group of friends.
2024, the “no Gree for anybody year”. Funny, even the devil heard us all so loud and decided not to gree for us but we serve a living GOD.
It was a GOOD year because God is good. I have chosen to only call 2024 GOOD. Everything with God is good and regardless of how life was lifing, God was Godding too and where there was a casting down, our heads were lifted high, Sooo high.
Thank you for saving us, thank you for keeping every single promise. I tore up my prayer requests at some point in this same year, but ABBA, you heard it all and kept every single promise to me.
Thank you for not seeing me like the world sees me, thank you for not judging me. I have brought your children together cos my own KPI is to know God and let the world he has given me experience him so this is how we go into 2025.
Dear God, I’m committing these ones in your hands, as we decided to praise you, pls keep us all in 2025 cos we coming back bigger and louder till the kingdom of hell is totally destroyed.
My biggest lesson this year was to discover you in a deeper and more intimate way, you found me broken, lost and hurt and you put me back together. Like a stallion, you gave me freedom, you taught me courage and gave me strength.
Thank you for the best Christmas gift you’ve given me, I’m still so numb and can’t find the words yet but Eyin le seyi oooo.
The world will see and know that you love me.
Thank you @mojihwusu for coming on board, I love how much you love God.
